Daracon Group operates a fleet of Kenworth, Volvo & Drake lowloader combinations, offering a full range of widening floats with payloads up to 73 tonne (larger weights by special application).  Current transport clients include Westrac (Sydney, Mt Thorley and Newcastle), Ian Rich Ashalt, Adrill , Downer, and Max Hire.  The Group also owns and operates an extensive range of modern earthmoving, mining and construction equipment and has completed contracts with the RTA for major road projects, Olympic site earthworks for OCA and local Councils.

Daracon Group can provide services in Heavy Transport either local or interstate, and is also able to offer urgent spare parts pick up type service through our network of vehicles and subcontractors based in and around our Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Sydney operations.

Float movements can be individually priced, either on hourly hire or contract fixed price basis.  We can carry large equipment such as Cat 637 scrapers, Cat D10T, Crushers, Quarry equipment and steel fabrications such as Rear Dump Truck bodies.  Daracon Group offers a full range of transport services including over-dimension and specialized freight, crane trucks, wide load escorts, craneage and liaison with Police and State authorities to ensure that all necessary regulations are met.
