Significant Achievements
- Overcoming a number of design obstacles and omissions and working together collaboratively with the client, design consultants, the RTA and Council to gain a positive outcome for all stakeholders in very quick time.
- The client gaining significant confidence of the Daracon Group advantage (focused people, integrated resources across the company available, focused client outcomes).
- Daracon’s ability to get the job started working with a number of design issues and service relocations outstanding, and still deliver the initial project program of 30 weeks.
- Daracon took a pro-active role in conjunction with the developer and RTA to liaise and assist with the service authorities (Energy Aust, AGL Ltd, Telstra and Hunter Water) to ensure a timely relocation of services to avoid construction delays and costs.
- Relocation of many services, including Telstra, fibre-optic, high pressure gas main, 375mm dia. water main, and twin 600mm dia sewer mains.
- Receiving commendable acknowledgement and praise from the RTA in our last contractor performance report.
- Creating minimal disruption to the local traffic commuters who utilise Raymond Terrace Road.
- Ability to work and create a positive relationship with many stakeholders including Daracon (the contractor), the RTA, the Developer & their superintendent (Land Development Solutions), Maitland City Council, Third party certifier (verifying the works).
