Scope of Work
Daracon undertakes various projects including Road Construction, Concrete Works and Ground Maintenance.
Significant Achievements
- Established at Mt Thorley in 2002 to meet the needs of the mining industry in infrastructure development and upkeep.
- Hunter Valley office, based at Mt Thorley industrial estate, with fully equipped office, administration engineering, operations and fully maintained workshop.
- Engaged a multi-discipline team of trades people, fully inducted into mine sites and competent in all job start procedures such as risk assessments, Takes, JHA’s.
- All equipment and plant has been inspected by relevant mine personnel and passed as fit for use, MDG15.
- Works completed to date include:
- Fabrication and installation of water fill stations.
- Refurbishment of demountable offices at Lemington CPP
- Extensive road maintenance
- Plumbing, signage and concrete work
- Car park, retaining wall and gardening grounds maintenance
- Concrete pads, beams and footings.
