Scope included:

• the fabrication and installation of the new structural steel girders and handrail
• fabrication and installation of precast elements including abutments and headstocks
• grouting of bearings and abutments and headstocks
• excavation of track to replace formation at either end of the bridge and relaying of new formation
• Installation of new transoms (bridge sleepers) with Huck bolt fastening system
• relaying of track and rail including Aluminothermic welding.

• Project proceeded and was completed in appalling weather conditions with heavy rainfall throughout project
• Zero LTI’s and zero safety or environmental incidents
• Project handed back on time in possession
• Project completed on time and on budget
