The project involved the upgrade of the existing Blackalls Park Weir Crest, including construction of approximately 400m of new delivery pipework (300m x DN300 pressure pipe and 100m x DN750 gravity sewer pipe) from the new barometric loop to Toronto WWTW and trenchless road crossing.

The project involved Daracon upgrading the existing weir crest at Fassifern Road, Blackalls Park.

The works included the following:

• Full safety and environmental compliance with local, state and client specifications.
• Management of on-site vegetation.
• Construction of trenchless road crossing (underbore) underneath Faucett Street.
• Construction of approximately 300m x DN300 vent line.
• Construction of approximately 100m x DN750 gravity sewer, using both GRP and DICL.
• Construction of new barometric loop and weir structure concrete works.
• Connection to existing sewer network during timed shutdown, using a large crew of our own experienced resources and several tankers from two separate pump stations.
• Construction of piled thrust block.
• Decommissioning of existing structures.
