As part of the Bengalla Mine Infrastructure Expansion, Daracon was engaged to complete the civil works which included;

• New Truck Marshalling Area
• Construction of New Tyre Change Slab
• New Public Carpark
• Upgrade and extension of Mine Light Vehicle Carpark
• Upgrade of the existing Hardstand Area
• Earthworks and Drainage works for New Workshop, Office complex and Bathhouse
• New Outside Stores Area

• Project completed with outstanding safety record (Zero LTI’s, Zero MTI’s)
• Project completed 3 weeks ahead of contract practical completion date
• High level of quality achieved throughout the project
• All project milestones in relation to handover of key areas throughout the program achieved on time
• High level of client satisfaction due to Daracons commitment to assisting in design and scope related issues
• Successful liaison and interface with existing and operating mine infrastructure area
• Extensive amount of the works was undertaken around existing underground services
