The work involves 2 stages of road works:

• Stage 1:  Rehabilitation of the existing Bengalla Link Road (approximately 5.6km) and upgrade works to the existing intersection at Denman Road.
• Stage 2:  3.8km extension of Bengalla Link Road (2 lanes), including three intersections and four tie-ins.

• 3.8km of new road through existing pasture land.
• Rehabilitation of existing road despite issues with original design.  Close consultation with client was undertaken to gain positive result.
• Mining safety standards maintained on civil site.
• Excellent relationship with client.
• Various additional works completed as identified by client.
• Complex traffic control undertaken on intersections in conjunction with Boral and Council.
• Worked closely with Muswellbrook Shire Council as ultimate road owner.
