  • Bathers Way South

    This project involves the demolition of 440 metres of road pavement, kerb and gutters, existing path and associated infrastructure adjacent to Newcastle Beach Surf Pavilion. Reconstruction will involve storm water drainage, refurbished road pavement, new kerb and gutters, new shared pathway, new retaining walls, fencing, lighting, hydraulic works and landscaping.

  • Cessnock Waste Transfer Station

    Daracon are contracted to complete all works associated with the construction of the new Waste Transfer Station for Cessnock City Council. This includes roads, stormwater, retaining walls, concrete slabs/hardstands and two large portal frame buildings. The new facility will utilise the existing weighbridge and is required to remain open whilst constructing new pavements around it. Once completed the facility will offer the community enhanced resource recovery opportunities in addition to a safer and more convenient facility.

  • Green Hills Shopping Centre Redevelopment

    Earthworks package for the redevelopment of Stockland Green Hills Shopping Centre which is set to more than double from 33,000m2 to 74,000m2. The package includes the extension and upgrade of five signalised intersections on the New England Highway and associated arterial roads.

  • Lake Macquarie Transport Interchange

    Lake Macquarie Transport Interchange will be a major connection between Glendale and Cardiff, NSW. The works include installation of approximately 2km of new road, with improved intersections and pedestrian, cycling and bus facilities.

  • Lee Wharf Replenishment

    The objectives of the rehabilitation works at Lee Wharf are to arrest the drop in rock revetment level in order to stabilise the site and maintain and extend the life of the structure. The proposed rehabilitation activities comprise placement of approximately 3,000m3 of rock to 2.7m below the top of the existing wall.

  • Mandalong South Surface Site

    The Mandalong mine is an underground mine located at Morisset, on Mandalong Road. To continue the mine plan, the Mandalong South Surface Site (MSSS) is required for ventilation and consumable supply to the mine workings. Daracon have been contracted to provide vehicular access to the mine, including an intersection on Mandalong Road and construction of the surface site area.
