Our Environmental Management System (EMS) is an integral part of Daracon’s Business Management System and provides a framework for setting objectives, guiding performance and monitoring outcomes.  Our business covers a broad range of civil engineering activities and having a comprehensive EMS ensures that we protect the environment by systematically identifying, assessing and controlling all environmental impacts of our work.

Recognising our obligations to present and succeeding generations, we are committed to the prevention of pollution, conservation of biodiversity and applying precautionary practices to minimise environmental harm.

We make sure that all personnel are trained in environmental awareness and use of the EMS.  This is also extended to visitors, suppliers and subcontractors through our procedures for site induction, purchasing and subcontractor management.

Our vision for responsible management of the environment is known by every Daracon employee and, as a result, there is a sincere commitment throughout the company to maintain a high standard of environmental performance, compliance with legislation and operational best practice.
