Former Plumpton High School student Matt Spinks says he used to struggle at school, but with the help of teachers & the school's School-to-Work program he is 2010's winner of the NSW Civil Construction Federation Trainee Award- the Hollis Vale Award for Excellence.

Matt attended school three days a week, Civiltrain one day and worked one day here at Daracon. He believes that the chance to finish his HSC as he prepared for a job made a major difference & from there his dedication and professionalism led Daracon to offer him a Traineeship.
